Emma's Coat of Arms

Last week, for Emma's main lesson, she learned about knights, their life and training, and heraldry. This project brought me back to when I was in junior high and did a similar project (though mine involved cutting out felt to make banners). I love how much she got into this (I knew she would) and how beautifully her coat of arms came out! xo

Viking Ship Project

I realized today that I never shared this sweet project that Emma did last week as part of her study of the Vikings (which is part of her middle ages block). I purchased this project from Teachers Pay Teachers and am so glad that I did. My only regret is that I didn't happen upon this project last year when Grace was  working on  this same block. It was really fun to see this entire project come together! xo
