Little Laundress

Today was all about pretending.  There are so many wonderful pictures of our day that it was initially very hard to choose which ones to post tonight.  Since I kept coming back to this series of pictures of Emma and her washbasket it seemed only right that these be the chosen photos of our day.  I love the way the light photographed, and I love how she is blissfully unaware of the camera.

It was a simply lovely day.

  1. Great series of photos! How sweet. :) I first discovered your blog last Friday through Soulemama's This Moment and I've been coming back daily. Thank you so much for introducing me to such lovely Ingrid Michaelson songs. I'm loving them! And your blog!

  3. Joy, Welcome and thank you for stopping by each day! It has been such a treat to have so many new people come our way these last couple of weeks! I am so thrilled that you are loving our playlist and blog so much!

Cate, The squirrel's love our deck. We throw out lots of cracked corn and black oil sunflower seeds for them (and put sunflower seeds in the feeder for the birds, up high of course so the squirrel's don't get to it). Emma has become quite the worker bee as of late! It's really been fabulous to watch her bloom right before our very eyes!
