Chicks Rule

Thanks, dear friends, for having us over today to meet your sweet chicks!  It was such a treat, and we are looking forward to watching them grow and learning all about them!  Thank you for letting us live vicariously through you, and we look forward to the day that we can have laying hens at our house!  From our family of chicks to yours, chicks rule!

Painting

"What would you like to do today, girls?" 
"Can we finger paint, mama? And can I use the waffle box?" (We always use boxes that are going to be recycled for finger painting.)
So, boxes were gathered (as were toy cars), smocks put on, a table cloth placed on the floor, and finger paints brought out. 
Then, the creating began!

And as is always the case, the finger painting session ended with some water play in the bathroom.  After all, isn't half the fun of finger painting getting to see the water in the bathroom sink turn a pretty shade of green!?
