In The Strawberry Patch

Yesterday Dave and one of our neighbors were working on repairing the ceiling in our stairwell, as well as installing a gorgeous new light there. Knowing that this was the kind of project that would be super messy (it will be days before all the dry wall dust is gone) and take hours I figured it was best for the girls and I to hightail it out of town in search of adventure. We hatched a plan with my mom to do some strawberry picking and chose a lovely farm to meet at in Connecticut. Rose's Berry Farm was totally up our alley and it was neat to be at a place we had never been before. The weather was lovely (though the skies opened up just as we were paying) and the picking was great. Many hands make light work certainly rung true for this task!
