Saturday

Today started out very slowly. We all slept till 8:00am and then took our time getting our day started. It was simply fabulous. 

Dave and Emma decided to get some house projects done. 

Grace and I decided to run some errands. 

Grace and I stopped by Barnes and Nobel to find some new books. We came home with two new Dick and Jane readers and these gorgeous bags that are perfect for our weekly library trips!

After the bookstore we stopped by the Winter Farmer's Market. It was opening day after all and we were in need of eggs. 

While we were walking around (seeing who had returned and who was new this year) we came across Pete and Jen's Backyard Birds and they had some Quail eggs with them. Grace discovered (and became enchanted with) Quail a few days ago so getting to see their eggs in person at the market today was a real treat! We bought some goat cheese and two types of marshmallows and headed home. What a lovely beginning to our weekend (and we hope yours was just as lovely, too)!
