At The Veterans Day Parade

It was a glorious day for a parade! The weather was a wee bit chilly but nothing that some gloves and hats couldn't fix (colder weather is on its way for later this week they say). To be able to honor the men and women who have served our great country is something that we never pass up the chance to do. Marching in the parades is such a simple act but such a great way to show our appreciation to those who make it possible for freedom to ring throughout the land.  It was during the parade today that we learned that Marlborough is home to the only Women Veterans Monument outside of Washington D.C.! How neat is that?! As Veterans Day comes to a close we want to take a moment to honor all veterans, especially the veterans within our family and our circle of friends. It is with grateful hearts that we thank each of you -and to your families- for your service to our country. Our love, appreciation and support is with you always! xo

  1. Just lovely Shel. We attended our Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony today, with very heavy hearts. It was beautiful, and so very touching. We had the added blessing of a beautiful, spring like day. Truly, truly blessed we are. xo

    1. Thanks, Kim! I found myself thinking about your Remembrance Day on our Veterans Day. The weather was indeed an added blessing! xo

  2. Looks like a fun day and it is so important to remember and thank our veterans! xx
