A Snowy Saturday

We woke this morning to a gorgeous snow covered world! The girls headed out into the wintry goodness as soon as they finished breakfast, and they remained out there until well past our usual lunch time. With how long we waited for this snow I'm not surprised they were out there for such a long stretch. They returned inside only when it started rain and their tummies started to rumble. They were blissfully happy for the much wished for snow and also to discover chocolate chip cookies just out of the oven. A perfect winter day, indeed. xo

    1. And more snow on the way for Tuesday! They're talking blizzard (and I'm totally cool with that)! Hope that you'll be getting some of the Tuesday storm too, dear friend! xo

  2. Hi Shell,
I know your family enjoys celebrating different holidays so I was wondering whether you were going to Celebrate Australia day on 26th January? You could learn about some of our animals, bake lamingtons etc. Just a thought!

  3. Such wonderful, happy photos of your girls!!! They made me smile!! I am loving those toboggans and the way your beautiful yellow farmhouse pops against the white of the snow. : ) We're keeping an eye on the weather for the next couple of days. They're talking upwards of 1 to 2 feet of snow and blizzard like conditions!!! CRAZY!!! xoxo

    1. Thanks, Wendy! Their smiles just radiate pure joy in these pictures, don't they?! The toboggans are amazing- they were a gift to the girls from Dave's parents the Christmas before last! Heirloom quality for sure! Looks like we're in for quite a storm this week! Hope you've got all the necessary ingredients on hand for pancakes or french toast or waffles! xo
