At The Ballet

Last Friday was Boston Ballet's opening night of The Nutcracker. Dave's mom, the girls and I got all dressed up and journied in to Boston for what is clearly becoming a holiday tradition for the four of us! It was another absolutely gorgeous performance of this wonderful ballet, and we were all as captivated as we were last year. I loved seeing the girls reactions throughout the performance (the first time the mice show up on stage, the entire section where it's snowing, the sheep- especially that silly lone black one, the waltz of the flowers, the grand pas de deux). I honestly think that they enjoyed it even more this year since they knew what was coming after having seen it on opening night a year ago! Thank you, Grandma Joan, for another lovely night at the ballet! We are looking forward to next year already! xo
