On Canadian Thanksgiving

October 2016 was the first year we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving. I have always loved Thanksgiving, and I have always loved October, and if truth be known I would much prefer American Thanksgiving to be in gorgeous early October too (our neighbors to the north truly have it right)! Back in 2016, when our Disney Cruise had been re-routed to Canada thanks to Hurricane Matthew (and we chose to re-book and wait another year) we decided that to honor the cruise we were supposed to be on that we'd celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. We loved it so much that it has been a tradition ever since!
Emma made her cornbread.
And Grace made her cranberry sauce.
note to self: be sure to switch out the Halloween table cloth for the Thanksgiving one next year.
And we had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner this evening!

Wishing all of our Canadian friends the happiest of Thanksgiving days today! May you be blessed with love and abundance! xo

  1. If our move to Canada goes through you'll have to come up and celebrate with us! ;)
