Last night before my Weight Watchers meeting I went out in search of a popcorn maker. I had been wanting one for awhile now and decided that now was as good a time as any to hunt one down. We love popcorn and have returned to making it on the stove, which although delicious is a wee bit difficult on the electric range that we have, and is also higher in points since it's popped in oil instead of being air popped. I decided that now was as good a time as any to go on the hunt for one.
Target had nothing, and since I was not in the mood to venture into Wal-Mart, I headed to Khol's, which if truth be known is not one of my most favorite places. Favorite place or not, it seemed to me that Khol's would be the most likely place to find one and a rather inexpensive one too. It was indeed there and as an added bonus, it was even on sale!
There was much excitement in the land when the popcorn started to pop.
There was also much gasping at the sight of it.
These two have never met a box that they didn't find something fun to do with.
Popcorn. It's not just for snack anymore.
Such a very yummy lunch.
And a great way to kick off a lazy afternoon too.
I have a feeling that this popcorn maker will more than pay for itself.
Have a wonderful rest of the day, friends
As always, we'll see you tomorrow.
Is that just one batch? ***It looks Lovely:)***
ReplyDeleteGotta get to Kohl's (I've got coupons...)
We use an air popper. I don't know why people don't do it that way!! It's so easy. You can take off the lid and let it pop to really make your girls squeal. :)
ReplyDelete(Just make sure they don't get popped.)
Honestly, I have no idea what took us so long to get one! I wish we'd bought one many moons ago. It's just fabulous! Taking the lid off is a great idea. We will totally try that sometime soon! What fun!
