Breakfast for Dinner

Today is Mardi Gras and as we do every year for Mardi Gras we had pancakes for dinner.  Breakfast for dinner is a favorite in our family, so any holiday that promotes eating breakfast for dinner is one that we will certainly be celebrating!
For the first time this week Grace drew pictures of me.  You can see them both here on our fridge!

As they say down in Louisiana: Laissez les bons temps roulez (let the good times roll)!

  1. What a good idea to have breakfast for dinner!

In Germany Mardis Gras means dress up... There were a policeman, Pippi Longstocking and a big cat (with a lot of face painting) in our house and they had to be at school/daycare at 7:30... no time for pancakes in the morning! ;-)

    Grace's picutres are so beautiful!

    Greetings from Germany!

  2. Mardi Gras in Germany sounds fun! We have yet to introduce the girls to Pipi Longstocking but when we do I am sure that they will love her!
