Scout Sunday

Emma was the lone (active) Girl Scout in attendance/who participated in Scout Sunday at church today. There were more (boy) Scouts present/participating than what is shown in the few pictures I took. The service was lovely, Emma read beautifully and was so proud to be recognized for her many, many years of Scouting one final time! xo

Yesterday at Church

Yesterday, Grace and August were invited to share their senior speeches from Pilgrim Lodge at church. Grace voluneteered to go first and spoke about what PL had meant to hear and how she learned the value of making friends and reconnecting with them each year. It was wonderful to hear these two young adults speak so beautifully about what Pilgrim Lodge has meant to them and how much they will miss it now that they have graduated. xo

In which Emma served as the entire tech crew, Grace donned a tree skirt and played the role of "Scholar 1" and everyone who participated did a fabulous job! xo

Scenes From This Morning

Faith Community Family together in the pew (missing David and Everleigh).
A song that feels even more important now.
and candles lit for all the trans people killed over the course of 2024 in honor of the Trans Day of Rememberance (to be held later this week).

This is the UCC.
I am grateful. xo
