Solstice Gifts

For Solstice, instead of the girls recieving gifts, we made gifts for our feathered friends.  We made them on Solstice and hung them up yesterday.

This morning we woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland, and were thrilled to see that our feathered friends had discovered their gifts.

I believe the bird in this picture is a female cardinal, though it's hard to tell. 

It was a blessed Solstice, indeed!
