I love these pictures. Our town does not even have a 4th of July parade. If it did, it would be like the Memorial Day parade where every organization in town marches, but very few Veterans and the meaning of the holiday is lost on the younger generations. This looks like a fabulous day. I did not know you live in Bolton. I grew up in Worcester!
Thanks, Jessica! The new camera totally impressed me yestrday with the gorgeous shots I got! I usually like to make them "large" here on blogger but when I tried to make them anything but "extra large" they appeared grainy. I think I need to change a setting in the camera so that not every picture I post needs to be huge! :)
Oh how I wish we lived in Bolton! No, we live in Marlborough, which does not have a 4th of July parade (but does have the worlds largest Labor Day parade. Seriously!). We headed over to Bolton to get a taste of the kind of town we hope to live in someday. Reminded me lots of Bethany, CT (where I grew up)! Sack races, pie eating contests and a parade, what could be better?! :) Oh, how I miss small town life!
