There is nothing like some time spent creating to turn a not so stellar day around! After they finished their ladybugs, they began working on another project, one that needs to be done in stages. We have a super busy day tomorrow, so chances are we won't get to finish that one 'till at least Thursday. The good news however, is that we got the time consuming part out of the way!

Ladybug Project
It's hard to believe that it's spring. Our weather continues to be unseasonably cold, and for the past two days we've had rain too. Needless to say, the girls (and this mama) are beyond done with being inside. Don't get me wrong, we are a family that loves winter but this inbetween stuff is definitely wearing on us. All they want is to be outside, digging, exploring, gardening and building fairy houses, and honestly, I can't say I blame them. After two (more) days of coldness and rain we've about hit our wall. A wall that was quickly approaching by late afternoon today. So, in an effort to avoid certain disaster, I busted out one of the super cute projects from my days as an elementary school teacher. It worked like a charm!
