Many Hands Make Light Work

Today we had a To Do List that seemed to be a mile long.  Dave wanted to get things done in the yard before the rain came (and as I type this we are still waiting for the rain to arrive) and I had a whole bunch of cleaning that I had been putting off for weeks now.  After a slow start to the day we all finally got down to completing the tasks at hand...

Grace spent time sprucing up the nature table.

David spent the better part of the day outside, working on the lawn and getting rid of a large pile of branches and other brush. 

And I spent time dusting and sweeping and washing windows and cleaning out closets.  It's amazing how much brighter the world looks through clean windows!  We managed to add another five bags of items to be recycled, donated or thrown out, bringing the total to 25 (for the 40 bags in 40 days challenge)!  It was a busy day indeed, and we are all wiped out and ready to call it a night.  As I type this Dave is tucking the girls in, and I am getting ready to curl up on the couch and watch a movie on the Hallmark Channel.  Have a wonderful night, dear ones!  We'll see you tomorrow!
