Beachy Cupcakes For A Birthday Beach Bash

This year for her birthday celebration Grace decided that she wanted to have all her friends spend the day with us at the beach. And as luck would have it, we're in the middle of a heatwave, so her choice of location couldn't have been any more perfect! Since we were going to the beach we decided to run with the beach theme. From the invitation, to the pre-party that we were having at the house (decorations, these cupcakes, and the super cute jellyfish craft that we did) to the party favors (buckets, of course!). It was adorably beachy here!

As always the girls were awesome helpers. From helping to gather the supplies we needed, to sorting the vanilla bunny cookies from the chocolate ones (so we could make "sand" for the cupcakes) to the actual decorating of the super cute cupcakes and finally to helping with the jellyfish craft during the party. I really would be lost without those two amazing sidekicks of mine! The party was a roaring success! Everyone seemed to have a great time and getting to spend the day with all our friends at the lake made it even better. Thank you to all who came and celebrated with us! It was fabulous to have you all there!

  2. It was *such* a great idea! I think I kept telling Grace that the whole day! She's a smart cookie that girl! Everything just came together so beautifully. I love when that happens. The kids said the cupcakes were delicious! By Wednesday I was all caked out! :)
