Snow Cream

When you have an abundance of snow outside like we currently do, there is only one thing to make for snack time....snow cream! Snow cream is like ice cream but much quicker and easier to make. I got the idea from my friend Lori from Potter Six when she blogged about it last year, and decided to try it when we had our first good snowstorm of the year this year. We loved it and have taken to making it with every good snowstorm that we have ever since.
Silly girls!
Into a large bowl add one cup of light cream.
A half cup of sugar.
One tablespoon of vanilla bean paste (or extract).
Mix.
Mix some more.
Add 4-6 cups of fresh, clean snow.
We used four cups today.
Carefully fold the snow into the mixture.  Don't over mix or it will turn to slush.
Serve.
Enjoy!

Snow Cream Recipe
4-6 cups fresh, clean snow
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Bean paste (can use extract instead)

Into a large bowl combine cream, sugar, and vanilla.
Mix.
Fold in snow. Coat snow with the mixture, but be careful no to over-mix or it will turn to slush.
Serve immediately.  Enjoy!

Have a fabulous rest of the day, friends.
We'll see you tomorrow.
